How do I report a problem?
If you need to report problems that you are experiencing on this site, please click on the "Contact Us" tab in the top menu. As soon as the problem is reported, we will do our best to look into it as soon as possible to get it resolved.
This is a professional social networking site and we have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful conduct. Please contact us if you discover any inappropriate material or comments.
For commonly asked questions, please see below.
From your main profile page, click "settings" in the top right hand box of the page.
- Click on "change" for your email address or username
- Once you have changed your email, click "save" to retain your changes.
On your profile page ("My Profile") you'll see a box beneath your profile questions labeled "Text Box". It's in this box that you can add almost anything you like - pictures, videos, links to other sites, etc.
Click the "edit" button to the far right of the box and add whatever elements you like.
Adding Pictures: You'll see a series of icons just above the text entry box that look like this:

Click the picture icon (circled in red) and you can choose to either upload a picture from your PC or paste the URL of picture you've already uploaded.
Adding Links: You'll see a series of icons just above the text entry box that look like this:

Click the link icon (circled in red) and a box will pop up asking you to enter the address (URL) of the page or site you want to link to. The link code will now be added to your post and the mouse cursor will be flashing between the two arrows like this:

Just add some text between the arrows - whatever you want the link to say i.e. "Click here" or "Here's my favorite coaching website". Whatever you type here will be the link text that appears underlined in blue.
How to Add a Link to an Image to Make it "Clickable"
Any image that you add to your text box can be made clickable, meaning you can add a link so that when a user clicks on the image, it takes them to an outside website. After uploading your image following the instructions above, use your cursor to highlight the code for that particular image. Then click on the link button as described in "adding links" above. You will now have a hyperlinked image!
Adding Videos: You can add a video from YouTube or any video sharing site. Simply go to YouTube for example and find the video you want. To the right you'll see a box with some embed code in it. Copy and paste this into your Text Box and presto... the video will appear!

You'll see a series of icons just above the text entry box that look like this:

Click the picture icon (circled in red) and you can choose to either upload a picture from your PC or paste the URL of picture you've already uploaded.
Go to your profile page ("My Page") and under your profile picture on the left you will see a link labeled "My Page".

Click the "Appearance" link and you'll be presented with a list of different color schemes and styles to choose from.
PLEASE NOTE: Some default styles look better than others and a few aren't very user friendly (navigation links are obscured by background images). You can change or tweak the colors of
various elements (such as links for example) or add your own header graphic by using the Customizer:

It's important that the Tabs (Home - My Page - Pictures - Forums etc.) at the top of the page are clearly visible. For example, if you upload your own header graphic and it's the same color as the links, these tabs won't show up.
Obviously we hope you never do. But should you want to leave you can do so with minimum fuss. Go to the "Settings" link in the top right hand box. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you'll see a link that says "Leave CoachBook".
Log into the site and from any page click on "Settings" in the top right hand box.

Click "Privacy" from the list on the left hand side. You can now check or uncheck the boxes according to what you want to keep private or visible just to your friends.
You can override these default settings for individual pictures - so for example, if you set all pictures to by visible to "anyone" you can set an individual picture (by clicking on it in "My Photos") to be
visible only to you or your friends.
PLEASE NOTE: If you set a picture(s) to be private (i.e. so only you can view them), they will still show up in the "pictures galley" but only for you. In other words, although you can see
them in the main picture gallery, other members cannot.
Yes--This is done from the "Privacy" link under "Settings" - see the question above for details.
You can block private messages from friends with the click of a button. However, if you have reason to block their messages it may be worth simply removing them as a friend! To block messages, click on the member that you want to block and click "Block messages from this user" underneath their profile picture, about halfway down the left hand column. You can also remove them as a friend from here too.
Log in to the site and click on "Settings" which you will find located in the top right hand box.
Click "E-mail" from the list on the left hand side. You can now check or uncheck the boxes according to what e-mail alerts you do and don't want to receive. If you don't want to receive ANY e-mail, check the box at the very bottom.
Please note: This won't prevent you from receiving from the site administrator. You will still receive periodic emails from the CoachBook staff regarding site updates and upgrades.
You can only send a private message to someone in your network of friends. To add someone as a friend click on a member's profile. Underneath their photo on the left you'll see an "Add as
Friend" icon. Clicking on this will send a friend request.

To send a friend a private message, click on the "Send Message" link underneath their profile photo, on their profile page.

Setting up a group is very easy. Simply go to the Groups tab and click "Create a Group." You can then choose various settings for your group such as who can join, whether you want a forum and/or comment wall and so on.
What might be less obvious is why you would want to start a group .... Group e-mail. You can choose to restrict access for emailing all group members to just yourself and other chosen group admins .... or you
can quickly create a group mailing list by enabling all members to be able to message your group's members. This is great for organizations and special interest groups.
A group simply links people together - people who have the same special interest for example, or people who live in the same area. For example, you might want to start a group for people that are interested
in the Wing T offense. You can then set up your own forum to discuss that
topic.
